Look at you,

You're so sad now,

you're a different shade of blue.

and self harm is the only sentence you allow.

Try to be who you used to be,

A soft and gentle girl,

look back to what you can almost see.

not a hurt and scratched up pearl.

Look back to the blue sky days,

Not the black and rainy weather,

of course there will be some mixed up greys.

but that's why we're together.

You can never be with just you alone,

Don't tell yourself these lies,

you need to be more than skin and bone.

no room to even compromise.

Try and see yourself a bit clearer,

Promise me you'll get by,

now I must walk away from the mirror,

before I see myself and cry.
